Customer's are making those "Have Too" decisions.

Even with the GREAT advantages of upgrading heating equipment now we are finding the only ones' doing so are those who have completely non-working systems or unsafe systems. In fact, many of the people with non-safe systems are taking their chances even when they are jeopardizing the health, safety, and sometimes life of their loved ones. People forget that the average life of a heating system is only 15 years and the new systems can save them more on their utility bills than the monthly payments on the new equipment. What does that mean? Money in their pocket even without including the 30%, up to $1500, tax credit. Clearly people are concerned. Actually, because of the scarcity of business, price mark up on new heating equipment is lower than usual which simply means, companies are getting less profit on their products now. That means even better for those who make the smart choice of upgrading now.

Federal Tax Credits

The Federal Tax Credits have not made a big dent in Homeowner's decisions to upgrade their equipment here. It amazes me. Homeowners can get a credit of 30%, up to $1500, on the total cost of upgrading their heating and/or air conditioning system to high efficiency. Not only that, York (our premier line of equipment) also has some consumer cash rebates on their premium equipment. York far exceeds the requirements for the program. Especially with their 98% efficiency gas furnace, the highest in the industry. Even boilers are offered the Tax Credit program and there are a lot of low (50-60%) efficiency older units out there that people are not upgrading. Unbelievable.

In the next few days we will be launching our new audio feature of "Customer Feedback" on our website. Our Customers will be able to verbally post what they think about our company and you will be able to listen to their comments. Just another way of passing the word regarding our integrity and quality.

SHOULD WE OR SHOULD WE NOT

We've just been invited to join Angie's List. It's a website that you have to be invited to join. A satisfied customer must purchase a membership and nominate you to be placed on it. Thanks to our customer but after visiting the site I think we will decline. Personally I think it's kind of misleading. The site charges people to view a list of companies to deal with and in looking it over the listings they are basically the same as opening the telephone book. I also noticed that some of our competitors on the site have some negatives, however the same negatives seem to be repeated almost word for word on several of those companies. I would say that one of our competitors like to sabotage other companies whenever possible. Too bad. Sad when you have to go to those tactics to gain business.

Dan here. Busy...busy...busy. Cooling season is here. The 85-95 degree weather is keeping us on the move. Of course, the $1500 tax credit is also a help. There's never been a better time to upgrade furnaces, boilers, and air conditioners. Along with the tax credit there are some manufacturers cash rebates possible and let's not forget the GREAT savings on utility bills by becoming so much more efficient. It all adds up to wonderful savings for our customers.

No Better Time for Heating/Cooling Upgrades

With the "Federal Tax Rebates" and the "York Cash Rebates" it doesn't make any sense not to upgrade equipment. Not only that, if our customers have equipment that's 15 or more years old the payments will be less the the amount of gas and electric savings. That means the utility saving each month will make the payment and the customer will have extra to put right back in their pocket. NO BRAINER!........Dan

Federal Tax Credits - Note change

Last Friday's entry for tax credits is not correct. The 30% tax credit has a limit of $1500.00 which would be the tax credit the customer would receive for the example I presented. The $3000.00 figure I showed was wrong. The $500.00 tax rebate is correct. Sorry for the error. The incentive to invest is still there for long term savings. Paul

Federal Tax Credits and York's Rebate Program

If there was ever a time to invest in a new heating and cooling system, it is now. The Federal Government signed into law on February 14, 2009 a 30% tax credit on qualifying equipment purchased & installed by a licensed contractor during tax years 2009 & 2010. In addition, York has a cash rebate program from March 1, 2009 thru June 15, 2009 for qualifying equipment installed through June 30, 2009.
For example: With the purchase of a York 98% modulating furnace with a variable speed motor and a York 15 SEER air conditioner for $10,000.00,* your eligible tax credit would be $3,000.00 and in addition, York would send you a check for $500.00. This is what I mean by do it now! Fry already is involved with customer installations, some of which are complete. We encourge you to check out these programs on our website and contact us for further information. 419-472-1106 Monday through Friday 8am - 4pm Paul

Is it time for a cleaning?

Furnace Maintenance:
Regular furnace maintenance is the key to an efficient heating system. Dirty filters, clogged burner ports and improper settings can drastically reduce furnace efficiency. Failure to keep up with furnace maintenance can lead to high expenses and even become dangerous. Regardless of what type of central furnace you have, it is recommend that you get a yearly inspection by a qualified service technician and replace or clean filters on a monthly basis. We have monthly payment options available. Give us a call today!

We're now on ServiceMagic

We were just accepted on ServiceMagic which is a website for homeowners who need a contractor to work on their home. They do a lot of checking on businesses before they are placed on the site including background checks on the company officers, a check with customers to see how they've been treated, verify insurance, and check for the proper licenses to make sure they only have reputable companies listed. Needless to say, we passed with flying colors. We are getting quite a few new customers from the site and hope it helps promote our new plumbing division.
